Retro Shoe

My mom had spectator pumps like these back in the 40's.  And every so often, like lots of fashion fads, these shoes come back into fashion.  This Stamp N Plus stamp can be found on this page.  It is #M1646.  I chose a red, black & white color scheme.  I stamped the shoe on white cardstock with red ink and used a Spellbinders die to cut the circle and the black mat.  I used a Spellbinders scalloped die to cut the red mat.  This was then mounted on polka dot designer paper and then a black base.  I added a ready-made bow and a border of red metal mesh that is reminiscent of the material used in the vintage of Whiting & Davis.  Happy Monday!  Paulette Akagi
